Wigan UTC is based in the heart of Wigan city centre. With main line trains and bus routes closely situated to the UTC, it is very easy for students to find their way. Based in the city centre gives a fantastic “workplace” feel for our students as well as being close to some of our industry partners.

Travelling by Bus

Wigan Bus Station is a 5 minute walk to Wigan UTC.
Most buses from all areas of Wigan will stop here, and run frequently throughout the day.
The main buses used are the 598, 113, 632, 631 and 600 with many more.

Travelling by Train

The nearest train stations to the UTC are Wigan Wallgate and Wigan North Western.
Both stations are a 10 minute walk to the UTC.
